Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4 1954 is an actress from Canada. O'Hara is the proud winner of many awards, including a Genie Award. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara became famous as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as co-stars, she was in the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd began work on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic writing and acting skills which earned her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for an episode of a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022.
