Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was a reporter for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report about the 2012 Benghazi attack "the worst mistake on my 10 years of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media company) in the year 2019. 4] In January of 2020 she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News). In March 2022, she claimed she was "dumped" by the company. Logan was an editor for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989), then in the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years she branched into freelance journalism and landed reports as a reporter and editor/producer at ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her base, and she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the ongoing conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
